Top 5 Free MMORPG 2013 Games List

Check out our top 5 free to play MMORPG games list for 2013. Here we pick the best games for you that are truly fun and a cut above the rest. These days there are dozens of f2p MMOs to choose from which is very good news for players. Unlike the old days when a good quality MMORPG could easily attract hordes of gamers, currently there is such fierce competition that a new title has to be really good to succeed.

These are the games that we predict will continue to be the most popular and most played MMOs:

Top MMORPGs 2013

Forsaken World – a fantasy MMORPG with gothic-style 3D graphics, this is more for the player who prefers a setting that is more dangerous and dark. This game is also perfect for the casual player since it is easy to learn and does not require constant clicking or non-stop keyboard actions. Newbies have it pretty nice, too, with tons of beginner items that make it a real joy to play. An example of what you can get for free when you start out is are infinite mana and health potions. Of course, the potions do disappear after a week but by that time you should have figured out how to get more potions.

Conquer Online – this amazing game has over 20 million players from all over the world and is the only MMORPG available to play on four different platforms – iPad, Facebook, PC and Mac. One of Conquer Online’s best features is that it is the first ever completely free-to-play MMO on the iPad, with no download fees, no subscription fee, and no in-game Shopping Mall. Conquer Online is a classic PvP MMORPG that offers old-school open world free-for-all style PvP, a fast leveling system and 4 traditional character classes with multiple specialization paths. The most recent expansion, introduced a new system that allows players to create, name and customize their own skills, giving the opportunity to showcase their own unique style in the game world.

allods onlineAllods Online – a futuristic fantasy MMORPG with top quality 3D graphics. Two warring factions, League and Empire, vie for control of allods – islands floating in the Astral. Aboard an Astral ship that is fully customizable, players can journey through the skies, discover previously unknown allods, engage in ship-to-ship combat and fight Astral demons. Players who enjoy faction vs faction PvP warfare will love this game. Allods Online is one of the largest and most comprehensive MMORPGs ever created, featuring a vast and gorgeously realized world, 6 races, 9 archetypes, 32 classes, and over 3,000 quests. Allods’ top quality production values feature full motion capture animation and art by internationally award-winning artists.

Drakensang Online – a very popular browser-based 3D MMORPG that has more than 5 million registered players worldwide. Drakensang Online combines the best game elements of an action RPG with an MMORPG. The flexible skill system offers players the chance to define their own personal style of play. Players can modify their character’s basic skills through the use of different elements – turning a simple energy ball into a frostball or turn a normal explosive attack into a meteor. A vast sum of quests to complete, items to be found, battles to win, and distant lands to explore are all part of the player’s experience in the kingdom of Duria.

Perfect World – in Perfect World, beauty is everywhere. Players travel in a vast, lush, gorgeously detailed world full of unique characters. Perfect World International has very polished gameplay and constant updates. The latest content update was “Sirens of War” in which Nations Wars, an incredible server-wide battle system, was released. Thousands of characters can take part in the wars, making this one of the most exciting and challenging tasks for players. PWI is one of the most popular MMO games around because it is played by over 50 million people from all over the world.

Honorable Mention:

League of Legends – okay so this is more of a fighting game than an MMORPG but it still counts! Did you know that LoL is the most played game in the world? It’s players have logged the most number of hours online worldwide. Why? Because it’s super fun and addicting. In League of Legends there is no grinding. Gameplay is similar to a Defense of the Ancients session. You create an account, pick a champion that suits your playing style, and then get thrust into a do-or-die situation where your team fights another team. Don’t worry though because there is a tutorial for new players.

Rappelz – a free, global MMORPG where over 6 million players adventure and battle in a dark and devastated fantasy world. Rappelz combines a striking fantasy art style with deep character customization, tactical pet taming & training and extensive player-versus-player and player-versus-environment gameplay.
